Speaking Services, Workshops and Consultation

Vivian Owens speaks to adults and children as a keynote speaker or in workshop capacities. Speeches are customized for the audience and occasion. Workshops can also be customized. Generally, speeches or workshops relate to themes from Owens' books. Most popular workshop/presentations for children and youth include the following:

• An Author's Potion (a fun academic activity satisfying Standards of Learning Goals in Math, Science and Literature.)
• Creative Writer's Workshop
• Analytical Minds (an interactive workshop to develop critical thinking skills)
• How to Achieve Success (particularly valuable to senior high school students)
• Stories by Vivian Owens (interactive, fun storytelling and story making)
• Legacies of The Mount Dorans (a talk from the book The Mount Dorans)

School visits may include up to 4 45-minute sessions per day. Fees may be determined by e-mailing or by visiting author-illustr-source.com under "Vivian Owens". In addition to the speaker's fee, please expect to pay all expenses, including transportation, hotel, meals and workshop materials.

Prior to an Owens' visit you will want to order books several weeks in advance to give students a chance to acquaint themselves with books by Vivian Owens.
